La centrale solaire de Cestas , la plus grande d’Europe, est une réussite industrielle.
Réalisé par un consortium piloté par Eiffage Clemessy, avec Schneider Electric et l’Allemand Krinner pour le compte du producteur français d’énergies renouvelables Neoen, sa construction a démarré en novembre 2014 pour une mise en service en octobre 2015.
L’installation s’étend sur une surface de plus de 250 hectares à proximité de l’agglomération de Bordeaux. Elle est composée de 25 tranches de 12 MWc.

on behalf of the French renewable energy producer Neoen, construction started in November 2014 and commissioning took place in October 2015. The plant covers an area of over 250 hectares near the city of Bordeaux. It is made up of twenty five 12 MWp tranches.
